Eco Park in New Town is one of the largest parks in India. The park covers an area of 480 acres, which is surrounded by a water body of 104 acres and an island central to it. The most popular places of interest in the park include Artists Cottage & Adda Zone, Musical Fountain, Urban Museum, Bishnupur Temple Replica, Visva Bharati University Shantiniketan Bell Replica, Seven Wonders Of The World, Sabuj Sathi Island, Graffiti Walls, Biswa Bangla Haat, and Children’s park, etc.

Biswa Bangla Gate, also known as Kolkata Gate, is a hanging restaurant located within Action Area 1, New Town. The various areas of New Town are visible from the restaurant and gallery, which are surrounded by glass.

Biswa Bangla Gate measures 180 feet high, and inside the ring are drawings of luminaries that are drawn on the wall. The wall can be accessed via two stairs as well as an elevator.

Nazrul Tirtha is a museum and research center for academics situated in Action Area 1, New Town. It is just 2.7 km from Biswa Bangla Gate. Nazrul Tirtha is dedicated to the poet Kazi Nazrul Islam. It was officially inaugurated on May 24, 2014, during the 115th birthday anniversary of Kazi Nazrul Islam.
